There is a tension in coming back, in returning to the light after time spent nestled in a dark, warm place. We are pulled, drawn forth by some magnetic force. We’re so coated in the pollen of darkness that light attracts to us without question.  It finds us, wraps a little braided cord around our wrist and leads us on. Emerging to rejoin the rhythms of life up here, stacking the bones back on top of one another, we ready ourselves to dance and dance and dance until it’s time to slip back down again and reconnect with the unknown. This is the beauty and pleasure of spending time in the underworld, the deeper you go the more aware you become of this pull between the beauty in each place. And so we’ll dance on, spiraling in and out of certainty and mystery.
